About Us

Hi there, my name is Jane Knobbs and my company is called Joyera. Joyera is a Spanish word which translates to Jewellery box.

In the summer of 2007 I fell in love with a very unusual bracelet in a shop near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire. I didn't buy it at the time but hoped to go back for it in the near future. Unfortunately, I didn't return and very soon after went to live in Spain. While visiting Ronda in Spain I saw the bracelet again but to my frustration, the shop was closed and I was only there for a day. I eventually purchased the bracelet back in the UK and found out the name of the designer - "Danon".

Danon's products are made through a synthesis of ancient methods and state-of-the-art technology. The jewellery and accessories are handcrafted out of pewter (tin alloy) or mazak (zinc alloy). Items are plated in gold, silver or brass and specially treated to assure optimum luster and durability. Products are further adorned using fine ornamentation such as Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones and exquisite beads, glass, leather - to create original and eye catching jewellery.

I am now living back in the UK and have now taken my love of this jewellery to the next level - selling the Danon range. In addition to my online store I exhibit at many jewellery emporiums, craft fairs and markets around Staffordshire.
